Beef Stew

Loaded with iron and healing herbs! The perfect meal for your postpartum.

This delicious and nourishing stew is so easy and simple to make and feel with so much goodness!

What do I need?

2 tbs olive oil

1 onion

500 grams diced beef

1 tbs sea salt

1tbs pepper

3 cloves of garlic

2 carrots

4 potatoes

1/2 cup of peas

2 cups of bone broth

1/4 cup tomato paste

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

3 tbs thyme

2 tbs rosemary

1 Tbs flour (may need more)

Method

Season the beef in salt and pepper

Heat olive oil on stove and add in onion

once browned add the garlic and beef and cook until the outside of the beef is brown

Add in carrots and potatoes and stir, cooking for a few minutes

Add in broth, tomato paste and Worcestershire, thyme and rosemary

Cover and let simmer on low for about an hour

Once ready mix a table spoon of flour of choice with some water and gently add in. You may need to add more or less to reach your desired consitency.
